On the Takagi interpolation problem

چکیده
This problem is a generalization of the tangential Takagi interpolation problem with simple multiplicities (in the following abbreviated with TIP), which was first studied in [20] as an extension of the well-known Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem (see [4, 14, 16, 18]). The TIP and the closely related Nudel‘man problem have been posed and solved following various approaches: in the discrete-time case (see [20] and [15]), in the context of interpolation with rational matrix functions in continuous-time as reported in the book [4], and with the generalized Beurling-Lax approach introduced in [5]. This paper examines some issues related to the existence and characterization of solutions of the TIP, following an approach based on the exact modeling ∗Department of Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Science, Osaka University, 1-3 Machikaneyamamachi, Toyonaka, Osaka 560, Japan, fax no.: +81-6-6850-6341, e-mail: [email protected] †ISIS group, School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, SO17 1BJ Southampton, United Kingdom [email protected]

Takagi-Sugeno Systems with Improved Interpretability and Interpolation Using a Complementary Interpolation Model
The paper deals with the interpretability problem of 1 order Takagi-Sugeno systems and interpolation issues in particular. Interpolation improvement is carried out by a corrective secondary model (essentially a black box) complementing the primary (interpretable) model. Optimization technique for this two-model configuration is developed. Experimental results suggest that this approach achieves...

متن کاملAdmissibility analysis for discrete-time singular systems with time-varying delays by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model
This paper is pertained with the problem of admissibility analysis of uncertain discrete-time nonlinear singular systems by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model with time-delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Lyapunov Krasovskii functionals are constructed to obtain delay-dependent stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is dependent on the low...
متن کاملMEAN VALUE INTERPOLATION ON SPHERES
In this paper we consider multivariate Lagrange mean-value interpolation problem, where interpolation parameters are integrals over spheres. We have concentric spheres. Indeed, we consider the problem in three variables when it is not correct.
متن کاملNevanlinna-Pick interpolation via graph spaces and Krĕın-space geometry: a survey
The Grassmannian/Krĕın-space approach to interpolation theory introduced in the 1980s gives a Krĕın-space geometry approach to arriving at the resolvent matrix which parametrizes the set of solutions to a NevanlinnaPick interpolation or Nehari-Takagi best-approximation problem. We review the basics of this approach and then discuss recent extensions to multivariable settings which were not anti...
